Exploitation Agency (BP) Batam states, during 2010 there were 38 companiesshipyard (shipyard), which invest in Batam. Total investment in 38 companiesare valued at 275,146,085 dollars worth of United States.
BP's Head ofPublic Relations Batam, Dwi Djoko Wiwoho said, in fact investment in theshipping industry is developing rapidly during the last five years.
